Avraham David Presents His New Single “Yigdal”

In honor of the release of his debut album Yahalom (diamonds), the young European singer is putting out one more single called Yigdal. Avraham Dovid wrote and composed a new tune for the familiar poem, and Udi Dimari did the arrangement. Yigdal is the poem based on the 13 principles of faith of the Rambam, which he set out in Maseches Sanhedrin. The authoring of the poem is ascribed to Daniel Ben Yehuda Dayan, who lived in Italy. As such, Avraham Dovid is putting yet another musical angle to the poem, with an Oriental style and Aroma.

Avraham Dovid is 29 and a father of two children, who lives in the city of Strassbourg, and was involved in music from the time he was young, and now he performs in Europe and America at Smachot and events.

He loves to perform in Israel, however he serves as a Baal Tefillah in a shul in Los Angeles. However now, with the summer wedding season about to make him fall off of his legs from exhaustion, he is traveling and composing at the same time.

Levik Tobol produced this single, together with Moshe Laufer and Yitzy Waldner. In the album, the songs were arranged by Avraham Dovid himself, as well as Moshe Laufer, Yoni Eliav, Shai Barak, and Udi Dimari. Ken Burgess and Miriam Israeli were also amongst those who wrote some of the lyrics.
