Itzik Dadya Launches His Third Album “Mechavein El Ha’Or”

A few days ago Itzik Dadya held a release concert for his new album “Mechavein El Ha’Or” in Tel Aviv. The event started with a siyum and some Divrei Bracha from R’ Chaim Horovitz, and immediately thereafter the music started. It was worth the wait. From the green suits worn by the musicians on stage, to the lighting, to the incredible music that was heard throughout the night. No less than 14 musicians were there playing, conducted by maestro Gershon Freishtat who truly outdid himself. New arrangements for every song on the album, as well as Itzik Dadya himself sitting on stage and performing some of the new songs with his incredible voice. He also sang a few of his other major hits. A number of his good musical friends also graced the stage, such as Ohad Moskowitz, Yishai Ribo, the Kinderlach, and Daniel Ahaviel. Over the course of the evening Menachem Toker surprised Itzik with a “Gold Album” presentation, because the album has already sold 20,000 copies, and a number of the musicians who worked on the album came up on stage as well, including David Fadida, who produced the album.

To wrap things up though, the concert ended with the first ever ALS Ice Bucket challenge on stage. Itzik immediately nominated Menachem Toker, David Fadida, and his own father, and was promptly poured ice water all over his head.
