Shloime Gertner Joins Menachem Toker on Motzai Shabbat Live
Last week Motzei Shabbos Bereishis, on the Motzash Chai program with Menachem Toker on Radio Kol Chai, Menachem hosted superstar singer from London Shloime Gertner who continued with the simchas yom tov foe the listeners. During the program Gertner debuted some new songs off his upcoming new album as well as dedicated the song “Nishmas” as a refuah shleima to Maran Harav Chiam Ovadia Yosef Haim Ben George. As Shloime finished the last few notes of the song the studio received a phone call from the hospital from a family member of the Maran who was by his bedside. This family member said that the Maran was very excited at the dedication and song and asked Gertner devote the song “Hishbati” to a chosson and kallah from the Rav’s family who are getting married in the near future, and asked that Gertner should appear there. The special show ended with Gertner performing a new song which speaks of the coming of the moshiach and redemption, to all pending and will heal arrive soon Amen!
