Gad Elbaz With A New Album “Nigun U’Mizmor” Featuring The New Single Ovinu Malkeinu For Chodesh Elul

Gad Elbaz is releasing a new album of niggunim, Piyutim, and Tefilos from his father’s house and from his childhood memories.

Gad Elbaz
was exposed during his childhood to many Chassidic/Ashkenazi songs when he was the Gabbai of the Ashkenazi shul near his house. In particular, Chabad niggunim are deeply rooted in his neshama; as a child he learned in a Chabad framework. This created a very interesting and special combination between his Sephardic/Moroccan/Algerian ancestry and the world of Chassidic niggunim. The result is a deeply rich musical production.

Gad is releasing a single off this new album. The song is the widely popular “Ovinu Malkeinu“, I can gave guarantee you that you have NEVER heard it like this.
