Yossi Green & Shimon Craimer With A New Wedding Single “Meheiroh”

Shimon Craimer and I met one Motzei Shabbos in Hendon, London in the home of a good friend. There were three young, amazingly talented fellows who came over to meet with me that evening and sit around the piano for a bit. Two of them have become famous worldwide today as singer/performers. The three were Shimon Craimer, Shloime Gertner and Yossi Gurwitz ני”ו. Yossi Gurwitz is a fine composer with quite a few hits under his belt. I have since been extremely fortunate ב”ה to have recorded quite a few well-known compositions for Shimon and for Shloime.

This new composition Meheiro was written from the surge of happiness that came over us when we heard the great news that our second grandchild Tzippy Green עמו”ש got engaged to Eli Tyberg ני”ו. Rushing over to the piano, I began to play to the mental images of our precious new Kallah with her Chosson, our new grandson, imagining them walking down toward the Chupa accompanied by their parents as the melody just flowed בס”ד! Then came the news that one of my Treasured Singing performance artists who now resides in Manchester, England, Shimon, will be in New York on the wedding date for exactly one day. When I called him and asked whether he could make it over to our Chupa that evening because I had this new composition I wanted only him to sing as our grandchild Tzippy would be walking with her parents to the Chupa, he immediately agreed and as expected, enchanted everyone present.

After the Chupa, I gifted him the song, gratefully, asking him to record it for everyone else to hear. Shimon then Produced, Arranged, Directed, Engineered AND Performed the song! Here’s his beautiful rendition of our new Meheiro!
