NYBC is back, along with legendary producer Yitzy Bald, to fire you up with inspiring fresh new music this Chanukah season, 5781. New York Boys Choir: Emes (NYBC 4), is the culmination of over three years of work, which started immediately after the release of New York Boys Choir: Menagen (NYBC III). Emes, features as always, absolutely stunning songs, original lyrics, stellar vocals, harmonious harmonies, and fresh vibrant arrangements. Every song has a powerful message! Yitzy still has the touch. Emes consists of fourteen knockout tracks and surprise guests, since Yitzy loves collaborations. NYBC joined up with the greatest singing sensations, to deliver the most dynamic and punchy messages to you. One of those collaborations features world renowned performer Nissim Black, in a track entitled, Bring It On; a powerful song about bullying. New York Boys Choir also partnered up with the organization Bonei Olam on a bonus track, entitled V’zakeini, which was released last year as a music video. The now, world renowned song V’zakeini, features NYBC, Benny Friedman, Baruch Levine, & Shir V’shevach Boys Choir. All the songs, arrangements, vocals, and messages on this album, are written and sung, with heart and soul. They are fun, fresh, and meaningful, all at the same time. Producer and arranger extraordinaire, Doni Gross, worked overtime on the arrangements for this incredible album. And boy did Doni deliver! Aryeh Kunstler joined in with his incredible backup vocals on most of the tracks, instilling some of his amazing flavor to the NYBC sound. Missing that “fresh” sound in Jewish music?
