Yaldi | Simcha Jacoby (Avraham Fried & Amram Adar Cover)
In honor of the birth of his first child, Simcha Jacoby presents a cover of Yaldi! The song was originally written for Amram Adar in honor of his son’s Upsherin, yet the lyrics are timeless for parents of children at any stage.
Adar recorded Yaldi in a duet with Avraham Fried, the second in a series of Fried duets. (‘Abba,’ sung with Ari Hill, was the first.)
This cover features Simcha Jacoby singing solo. Simcha took the song up a few notes, and as always, enhanced the cover with his own unique style. Listen to the sweet Hebrew lyrics of Yaldi that depict a father’s unwavering love for his child!
