Yaakov Chesed – Oseh Shalom (Official Music Video)
I began writing this song when I was in high school. Over the years I recorded multiple versions of it but was never satisfied until now. The words are said at the end of every Amida Prayer that Jewish people say three times each day. It is a prayer asking the Master of the World for peace. Whenever I think of this song I always think of a dear friend of mine and how he would sing it back when we were teenagers. This friend got very ill in the spring of 2021. I wanted to release it for him to get some strength from. Unfortunately he didn’t live long enough to be able to hear the final version. This song is dedicated to him. Asher Ben Avraham. His soul should continue to be elevated (have an “Aliyah”). He was a peace maker and may his memory and influence bring peace to us all. May the world shine with G-dly light and may Shalom be upon us all with the coming of Moshiach!
Please enjoy, give a like, and share this song with anyone who needs it!
