When Prayer Becomes a Conversation: Shay Viner Returns With A New Single As A Son Talking To His Father “Yavo Shalom”

Shay Viner, the prince of wonder of faith music and a frequent winner of the Jewish music charts and reaching the top spots, returns with a new and profound single — adding another dimension to his unique musical language that has already captured hearts.
After “Hamigdalohr Sheli,” which established his status as a shining voice in the faith music landscape, and after “Ten Li” that cried out for strength and courage to remain faithful to the truth — now comes a song that brings with it a different maturity. This is not a quiet request, but a conversation; not a prayer from afar, but a direct appeal from a son to his father.
Yavo Shalom” is a deep and intimate appeal to Hashem as a “good father- Abba Tov” — a father who waits for his sons, hears their requests and prayers and understands that the world needs a father’s caress and comfort. Shay hides nothing: he asks difficult questions, takes stock of himself and asks that the correction, yes, this too, come today. The words of Binyamin Elbaz (who also was involved in “Ten Li”) meet here in a moment of unmediated honesty: “If we have crossed the desert, if we have reached the mountain, tell us what is left.”

This is the prayer of the generation, a prayer that is not satisfied with the familiar verses, but comes from the place of a son who trusts his father and knows that he will answer his prayer: “Listen to the prayers of your children who cry out to you loudly,” a statement that encapsulates both the fracture and the absolute confidence.
Wiener proves once again that he is not just a voice, but a point of view. A young artist who refuses to remain on the surface and chooses each time to dive deeper into the questions that we all carry with us.
“You are the King of Kings, it is only You who gives life, fill us with grace and love”, it turns out that the only and simplest way is to speak directly to the Father…

Lyrics and music: Binyamin Elbaz
