Udi Davidi Says Thanks For Selling Over 100,000 Albums!!!

Less than a decade ago, singer Udi Davidi stormed the Jewish music world with his debut album “Davar Ailav“.

Fans flocked to music stores when he released his fourth album “Rochot Tovot” which quickly reached gold album status. A year ago, Udi broke records of airplay and general exposure in the media. For three consecutive weeks “Ben Ahuv” was the song most played radio stations in general.

Nearly a year after releasing his fifth album “Ben Ahuv“, we hear about a new record-breaking in Jewish music. Not only has the current album made it to a Gold status (which means selling 20,000 copies) but it seems that the four previous albums of Davidi: Davar Ailav, Chozar Eileicha, Lechol Zeman, and Rochot Tovot each at his own pace reached the finish line of Gold.

To sell a hundred thousand albums, especially in an age of burning and downloads is no small feat. Davidi chose to express his feelings of appreciation to Hashem and the tens of thousands fans who have bought his albums with a NEW song: “Achshav Shtika: Time to say thank you”. Udi’s writes אני לעצמי אין בי כלום, מעפר אני בא ואליו אשוב, עכשיו שתיקה, זמן לומר תודה”.
