Tradition In A Contemporary Setting: The Shtela Ensemble & Yossel Leifer Renew “Lefichach Anachnu”

The Shtela Chassidic Ensemble, conducted by Dudi Brim, releases a new performance of the work of Cantor Yisrael Shor, one of the greatest Chassidic cantors, who based his work on the purity of the world of prayer. The new performance brings to the forefront the connection between the traditional Chassidic melody and classical cantorship, as part of the ensemble’s vision to make the treasures of authentic music and Chassidus accessible in a contemporary setting.

Instead of sticking to the familiar liturgical performance, the work has received a significant upgrade in a completely different arrangement and with a new rhythm that gives the classic a lively and sweeping energy. The combination of the ensemble’s musical precision and the vibrant atmosphere preserves the spiritual depth of the original, creating a powerful and joyful soundtrack that will perfectly suit you for any occasion, joy, and moment of thanksgiving.
