The Legendary Singer & Composer Yossi Bayles, In A Refreshing & Powerful New Song “Kama Yosef”
Yossi surprises us every time with his own style. Just when you think you know Yossi, he suddenly comes up with another innovation and musical presentation in the ultra-Orthodox world, with a first thought that puts on the words from the source he chooses in a musical arrangement that delivers what is called in the USA the “style of Yossi Bayles.”
The Gemara in Pesachim (16B) says; “Rabbi Yossi said, If it was not for that day (Matan Torah) that made me who I am, I’ll be like any other Yosef in the Shuk.” Yossi always felt that this one sentence was so powerful. That the heritage that we received at Sinai, made us who we are. That is why the Jewish Nation always finds a way to get back up, not matter what hardships we may be going through
“Me personally as a Yosef, I really get this sentence in my vocabulary on a daily basis,” says Bayles., “So I composed that loop kind of song that fits the lyrics naturally.
This song “Kama Yosef,” Yossi has been singing at Kumzits shows for several years now, and fans have anxiously been waiting for him to release it to the world. Enjoy the song that in only three short minutes will excite the world with a surprising ending.
