Special For Yom Tov Avraham Ohayon Releases A New Single “Teka”

Avraham Ohayon was born in Morocco in 1985 to a very musical family. His father served as a cantor in the Jewish community in Morocco and at the tender age of four Avraham starting to sing with his father.
As a child, he appeared as a soloist at the “Kolot Casablanca” for about 4 years.

Abraham multiple “I grew up in Casablanca, and learned Talmud Torah (Yeshiva Neve Shalom) close to the Chabad community, and all my childhood I always felt connected to the music community.”
At 18, he left with his family to France where he learned in yeshiva until his marriage in 2009.

In 2010 Ohayon participated in the world wide Jewish Star singing competition where he succeeded as runner up beating out hundreds of competitors.
Immediately after winning the second place Avraham released his debut single, “Haleluka” and went on to perform together with Avraham Fried in his hometown in France in 2011 as well as opening show and shared song with Yaakov Shwekey later that year.

In honor of the fast approaching Chagim and Aseres Yemei Tshuva Avraham Ohayon is releasing a track from his longly awaited debut album. The song entitled “Teka” was composed by veteran composer Yitzy Waldner with arrangements by the mega talented Shai Barak. The song is being released with a moving music video which was filmed in Israel.
