Singer & Poet Rabbi Yaniv Yaakovi Launches A New Single: “Shirat HaYam”
It is a powerful and moving work produced together with a meticulous musical arrangement of the well-known piyoot, which is rhymed by Rabbi Yaakovi in his unique style, combining tradition with contemporary touches.
The single is the first song from a particularly invested project, which will include musical arrangements of selected parts of the prayer, and make them accessible to the general public in an exciting and up-to-date approach.
The idea behind releasing the song in a particularly happy rhythm stems from the words of the Chida according to the Zohar, according to which whoever says “Shirat HaYam” with joy, and feels as if he himself is in the presence of the parting of the Red Sea – all his sins will be forgiven.
