Shalsheles & The Maccabeats – Lmaan Achai
Although its been nearly three years since the famed adult group SHALSHELES released their last album, they have been featured on not one but TWO prominent concert CD/DVD since (HASC 25 & OHEL-The Music We Love).
However a music fan must wonder what has the famed composed Yitzchok Rosenthal and Shalsheles been up to these past three years? The answer my friends is the next step in the evolution of Shalsheles, a NEW Shalsheles album which will feature collaborations with other artists.
That’s right, this winter/Chanukah season music fans everywhere will be treated to the famed music stylings of Shalsheles as the group is joined by many of their “friends” in the music business.
With the summer season upon us and the three weeks beginning, this is a time when Achdus/Togetherness is most important. For this very reason Yitzchok Rosenthal is trying something new. One of the new tracks on the upcoming album is “Lmaan Achai” (for the sake of my brother) and features the world renown YU Maccabeats as the collaborating artists. This song is being released in anticipation of the upcoming album as an Accaplla Single next week for download only for tzedakah/charity.
The song will be available on iTunes shortly by clicking following this link to get new track AND support Jewish unity from Shalsheles & the Maccabeats, and don’t forget to look out for their upcoming album this winter/Chanukah season.
