Prayers & Tears | Avrumy Lunger | Rosh Chodesh Sivan Eve, a Day Able to Pray for Descendants | Leib Komzitz
On a special night, on the eve of Rosh Chodesh Sivan – the holy day on which the gedolei Yisrael used to say Tefillas Ha’Shla, and daven for their children, we gathered together, around a small fire and a burning heart, for an hour of melody and prayer.
And this time, songs and words that touch the heart deeply: A mother’s prayers for her children. Anyone who grew up on the knees of a Jewish mother knows what a silent prayer is in the middle of the night. Anyone who has seen a tear in the corner of a mother’s eye while lighting candles knows the great power in the heart of a mother who asks HaShem that we may not be extinguished. On the eve of Rosh Chodesh Sivan, the day on which the Shla Hakadosh revealed a day capable of opening the gates of heaven for the souls of their offspring and receiving the prayers of parents, we sing this together. Singing with tears, prayers and requests
This is not another medley – this is a live prayer, an authentic recording, live, without filters. Only truth, soul, and a melody that passes from generation to generation.
Father, mother- pray, ask, do not give up!
With a warm heart, we recite the prayer of the Shla Hakadosh from the bottom of our hearts.
And may our children and the children of our children be kosher forever.
