Ofer Halevi Pays Tribute To The Kidnapped With A New & Moving Performance of The Song – “Aneini”
Actor and singer Ofer Halevi, one of the well-known and beloved figures in the world of religious culture, is currently releasing a new performance of the moving song – “Aneini”.
Halevi, who is known for his unique voice and stage presence, chose the song “Aneini” out of a personal connection to the lyrics and the emotional power it contains. According to him: “There is a deep request in this song, a true plea, that we all sometimes feel at different moments in life. My connection to the text was immediate, and I wanted to bring it to life in my voice and in my own way.”
The new performance comes at a charged time for the people of Israel, and according to Halevi, it is also dedicated to prayer and hope for the speedy return of the kidnapped to their homes, for the success of our fighting soldiers and for those who gave their lives for us. “The words ‘Aneini’ take on a double meaning today – it is a personal call inward. We pray to see all our loved ones return to us safely.”
