Menachem Bristovsky Presents: Widerker turns 85 & Avremi Roth Performs His “Ashirah LaHashem Bechayai”

Composer Meir Martin Widerker is celebrating his 85th birthday and in honor of this, he presents the fifth album in the ‘Shabbat Hamalkah‘ series, with the album also focusing on Rosh Chodesh songs for the first time.

With the release of the full album, Widerker released to the music-loving public the first track of the new album, “Ashirah LaHashem Bechayai,” in which he hosts noted singer Avremi Roth.

The album features, among others, Tzudik Greenwald, Yaakov Yitzchak Rosenfeld, Yitzchak Meir Helfgott, Yankele Rotner, Boaz Davidoff, Avremi Roth, Avraham Fried, Yitzchak Meir, Eli Herzlich and others.

Menachem Bristovsky, who is also responsible for the piano and keyboards, was in charge of the musical arrangement and orchestration of the songs. Avi Avidani’s drums, Avi Singolda’s guitar, Ari Berkowitz’s bass guitar, Dor Asraf’s saxophone and side flute, Adi Meiri’s trumpets and his band, Shai Dagan’s trombone and Avi Gianno’s mixes, all give their special touch to this album.

And to complete the vocal harmony is the Yedidim International choir, conducted by Yaakov Rotblatt.

The “Ashirah LaHashem Bechayai” clip is enhanced with a colorful and visual effects from the creative department of the Bahazit advertising agency.
