The Maccabeats – Home (Medley) – Israel

The Maccabeats – Home (Medley) – Israel

Home” is a deceptively complex topic; it means something different for each and every one of us. Perhaps this is why so many poets, songwriters, and artists have attempted to describe and define it.

Due to recent events, what was originally conceived as an expression of the variety of these interpretations was distilled into a singular and powerful theme: though the Maccabeats reside in the West (New York), our hearts, thoughts and prayers are in the East (Israel).

Filmed in Jerusalem and New York City, Home is about combining the twelve melodies and themes of the works which comprise our medley into a coherent whole.

Most importantly, the Maccabeats continue to hope and pray for a lasting solution to the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. We pray that each and every person there will find his or her safe and peaceful and home.
