Ma Nishtanah: Levi Farkash In A Special Pesach Performance
Ahead of Pesach, singer Levi Farkash launches, as part of his “Reels” project, a special performance that connects “Ma Nishtanah” to “Shochen Ad,” combining the Seder lyrics: Kadesh and Urchatz.
The performance opens with the familiar question – “So why are our people different from all nations?” to the tune of Yishai Ribo – and continues into the atmosphere of Seder night with energetic singing that brings the holiday from a fresh angle.
“Ma Nishtanah” takes on a contemporary meaning here, with a connection between tradition and a question that remains relevant even today.
