Lhodos Ulehalel – Shimon Katz, Bin Levy & Shloimi Schinfeld
Singer and songwriter Shimon Katz was lighting Chanuka licht, when the inspiration for the song Haneiros Halalu struck. The words “Lhodos Ulehalel,” the essence of the avodah of Chanuka, stood out to Shimon as he spontaneously broke out into this upbeat catchy tune. Knowing that he had to share this song with the world, he approached up and coming arranger and producer Shloimi Schinfeld to create the production and sound of the song. Joining Shimon on “Lhodos Ulehalel” is popular wedding singer Bin Levi.
So this Chanukah, whether you’re singing this tune lighting Chanuka licht or humming it while munching on a jelly donut, we hope this song will be a vital part of your Chanukah avodah for years to come.
Enjoy!
