“Lebedig” Band In Medley For The Trip To Uman: “Hamelech”
The New Spirit of the Chassidic Music World: The young and energetic “Lebedig” Band is approaching the High Holy Day season with “Hamelech” a sweeping Breslov medley for Rosh Hashanah, connecting the fervent prayers of Rosh Hashanah and the kibbutz in Uman with vibrant and energetic musical innovation.
A number of leading artists were recruited for the project: singers Avreimy Lunger and Avreimy Moshkowitz who bring performances full of emotion and awakening, virtuoso clarinetist Avreimy Stern, Nachman Stern who conducts on the keyboards, Nachman David on the saxophone and Yosef Baruch on the electric guitar. A special moment in the medley belongs to the international shofar player David Chacham Herson, one of the few in the world who masters the art of blowing the shofar at a professional level, in a powerful piece of music that shakes the heart and puts you directly into the holiday atmosphere.
