In Honor of Pesach: Chavruta & Gil Israelov – Chad Gadya
For several years now, there has been no Pesach without innovation . Here is a delicious, kosher and elegant sweet for Pesach from the creative studio of David Taub together with Gil Israelov who brings the poetic hue, and of course Chavruta – Moishela Schneider who joined the journey last year and brings the Israeli/American warmth.
“Dayeinu” “Ma Nishtana” “Echad Mi Yodaya” – these are three magnificent works of art, which have made a splash in recent years with the cleaning of the last grains of chametz in Israeli homes. They have received endless airplay and listening, and have become hits that grace the musical soundtrack of many Seder tables, from East to West.
And here, the “Chazaka” becomes a tradition this time. The sweet goat, the cat, the dog and the stick, the fire and the water, the ox and the slaughterer, come to life and receive tangible form and expression in this wonderful song.
The entire story of ‘Chad Gadya‘ takes on a special and fascinating meaning and interpretation as Hashem’s good hand upon David, who composed and arranged it.
