Hold On Tight – Vzakeini feat. Benny Friedman & Baruch Levine

Help us reach 50,000 Women Around the World https://boneiolam.org/vzakeini/?aff=utube

They used to wait alone.
Couples.
Husbands and wives.
When would they merit a child of their own?
Their silent hopes and whispered prayers ascended to the One Above.
But a few years ago, suddenly, there was a movement.
A movement that brought people together.
In short order, the couples were no longer waiting alone. They were now waiting with 40,000
women, who davened for them every week as they stood in front of the flickering candles on
Erev Shabbos, offering prayers from the heart while also each contributing $1 to tzedakah every
week in their merit.
Celebrating the two year anniversary of this worldwide effort, bringing Yidden together in unity and prayer, Bonei Olam released a remarkable, stirring new song that depicts the
dreams that lie in the hearts of these couples, the achdus generated by the Vezakeini project, and
the idea that in a world that is often lonely and challenging, Klal Yisroel is waiting – and hoping
– together, as one.

Because together, we are stronger.
And so are our tefillos.
For those waiting for shidduchim, refuos, and other yeshuos, the message is the same.
Klal Yisroel is waiting together, in unity.
And we wait, we hope, and we pine – together – for the ultimate yeshuah with Moshiach’s
arrival.
Because, as the song describes, together, our cries our stronger.

Lyrics:
In a room that feels empty
sitting all alone
Where just two candles glow
The silent hopes and whispered prayers
Echoing painfully
The dream in their hearts
yet to grow

Imagined it so many times
Their dream vzakeni
A family of their own
Offered every tear they have
Done all there is to do
But they know theyre not in this alone

I know that it’s hard to keep waiting,
So i’ll be here with you- holding your hand
And together our cries vzakeini
our tears will be carried right up to Hashem

So let’s keep on waiting together, hoping together
For just one more day
Hold on tight for just a bit longer
our cries our tefilos he wont turn away

In a world that feels empty
We languish in golus
With only our faith aglow
our silent hopes and whispered prayers
Echoing painfully
The dream in our hearts
yet to grow

Imagined it so many times
הרחמן הוא יזכינו
For that day, a home of our own
Offered every tear we have
Done all there is to do
But we know we’re not waiting alone

I know that it’s hard to keep waiting,
So i’ll be here with you- holding your hand
And together our cries will be stronger
our tears will be carried right up to Hashem

So let’s keep on waiting together, hoping together
For just one more day
Hold on tight for just a bit longer
our cries our tefilos he won’t turn away

vaff al pi…

Tatte it’s hard to keep waiting
But you’re right here with us
holding our hand
all together our cries will be stronger
and pierce through the heavens
again and again

If we keep on waiting together
Hoping together for just one more day
Til we’re all celebrating together
Moshiach’s arrival
The tears wiped away
