Hillel Meir Salutes Bnei Torah “Asherey Ha’am”
Hillel Meir from Beitar Illit grew up on Chassidic music, specifically American music like Miami Boys Choir and the Chevra. He only began thinking of going into professional singing about six years ago when a Chessed project asked him to sing at a wedding. The crowd enjoyed his performance.
He is a full time Avreich in a kollel, but about two years ago he also officially joined the wedding music circuit. He has joined forces with musician Shmuel Yefet, and the two of them released Hillel’s first debut single called Tzaddik Katamar, which he composed himself, and was arranged and produced by Yefet.
Hillel is now releasing his second single Ashrei Ha’Am. He composed it as well himself. Menachem Safra arranged and produced it for him. He also participated in the main summer event concert in Beit Shemesh this past Tuesday night together with Simcha Leiner and Moshe Bell.
