Eliezer Schweber “Shomer Yisroel”
Composer and creator Eliezer Schweber (“Hameorerim” series) responds to “Situation” in a new yearning song accompanying the clip.
With fresh sections of the archive, the plague is dropping spaces in Jewish communities around the world.
A story of this song, quite simply: Schweber says that Rabbi Michael Sorotzkin of Telez Stone asked if I could please write a song about the words ‘Leich Imi…’, and another Jew Chaim Lefkowitz asked why not write a song about the words “VeHoseir Mimenu …”. When I saw in the video the pictures of children crying on their father’s aron in America, the melody came out on its own … “David Taub has worked on the arrangement and reached out to musician and Avi Singolda to lend his talent on the guitars.
Eliezer asks the public to come together and pray for the injured.
