Eitan Kleiman – Yecholim Litzhok

Kleinman gives us “Yecholim Litzhok”, the second hit from his debut album about to hit the stores. The lyrics to “Yecholim Litzhok” may find an echo at any time in one’s life but they are particularly suited to this time of the year, a time of mercy and forgiveness – “You can shout to Hashem Yitbarach, in a still small voice, in a very loud scream, and no one will hear at all”.
The melody in “Yecholim Litzhok” develops in an unexpected manner. Added to that, the arrangement with its ethnic overtones by Amichai Koppel (a graduate of the “Hed” contemporary music college and with a degree in musicology), and you have a quiet song, both powerful and moving.
Kleinman who has been working for the past ten years on his debut album presents us with a song which expresses his philosophy “There is never a moment when a song is not playing in my head.” Even at more complex
moments when the heart cries out and the soul turns to its Creator.
“Omeid Lhishtanut” the intriguing new album by Eitan Kleinman is about to be released within the next few weeks. Once the album is released, Kleinman plans a round of “interactive” performances, in his words, during which he will songs from the album and “other surprises” he promises with a mysterious smile.
