Dovid Stein Releases New Single “AMEICH”
It’s been almost seven years since singer Dovid Stein released his debut album “Melech.” In that time he has appeared in concerts and weddings around the globe, as well as made guests appearances on several albums.
About two years ago, Dovid got the itch to head back to the studio and finally work on some new material. “I felt the time was right to release something new,” says Dovid. “A lot has happened to me in the last few years, I have matured musically and it’s time to show the world.” He teamed up with producer, arranger and composer Ruli Ezrachi who fell in love with Dovid’s tone and voice years ago. The two spent many hours listening to demos and dealing with composers to find this new sound for Dovid.
This new single “Ameich” was composed by hitmaker Elimelech Blumstein (Bum Bum, Mamleces Kohanim, Eretz Yisroel, Shaarei Mizrach) and masterfully arranged by Ruli. When Ruli heard the song, he instantly knew that this song belonged to Dovid. “This more mature sounding Dovid is not necessarily about those extremely high notes, but rather his middle register in which he is very comfortable,” says Ruli. “Dovid’s voice carries so much warmth as shown in this song. You can’t help but become attached and just want to listen to it all day. Ameich is the first single off Dovid’s upcoming second album.
