Chavrusa: David Taub Releases First Single From Intriguing Project “Pischu Li”
David Taub and Moishela Schneider release a debut single “Pischu Li“
David explains, “Since I started working with Moishela, he always addressed me as “Heilige Chavrusa” (the holy chavruta) and over time we became, first and foremost, a chavrusa in Torah and in the service of God. When we come from that place into the studio, it was clear that it also had to be in Chavrusa.”
David and Moishela do indeed do a weekly Torah program together in a podcast atmosphere called “Bemcast”along with Davidi Nachshon and many guests, all musicians, and have now become a band. The name Chavrusa contains a lot of meaning beyond a musical duo, to the point that Moishela did not give up on the word at the beginning of the song.
David promises many more songs in this concept in the near future.
