Chabad Shluchim From Around The World Sing To The Rebbee “Berov Shirah V’Zimra”

Rav Zohar David is a Chabad Shliach living in India, his brother Rav Noam David is a Shliach and the Rav of Kfar Ha’Naggid, and Erez Lonberg is responsible for the Chabad outposts along the Atlantic. The three came together from all over the worlds in order to produce a new album, full of songs about the Lubavitcher Rebbe, whose lyrics were taken from Perakim of Tehillim.

A well-known tradition of Chabad is to say a perek of tehillim every day that corresponds to the amount of time in years since the Rebbe was born. This year is 114 years since his birthday, and as such, they are reading Perek 114, which is B’Tzeis Yisrael Mi’Mitzrayim. One of the last messages of the Rebbe is to maximize one’s singing.

Rav Yitzchak Ginzburg is one of the most popular composers in the world of Jewish music, and he would also compose the Perakim of the year. At his request, some of his students took it upon themselves to produce a professional album containing some of the tunes that he has composed over the past decade.

Berov Shirah V’Zimra is this album that will be released soon, containing ten songs produced by Oved Monis and Erez Lonberg. Some of the musicians involved were Nadav Becher, Oran Tzur, Menachem Herman, Shaishai Mizrachi and others. Some of the soloists were Erez Lonberg and the David brothers, along with Rav Binyamin Rozensweig, who is the Rosh Yeshiva in Ramat Ha’Sharon, Achiyah White, and Menachem Mendel Kroeger.
