Chabad Celebrates Chanukah with Dallas Mavericks & 8th Day
Thousands turned out to attend the Chanukah celebration at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.
Chabad of Dallas and the Dallas Mavericks put on quite the event for the Dallas locals. With games, food, and a grand menorah lighting led by Marc Stein from ESPN.
All followed by a spirited concert, and plenty of celebrating, with the 8th Day band.
Mark Cuban, the owner of the Mavericks who is a proud Jew, couldn’t attend due to a last minute schedule change, but sent his best wishes to the Rabbis and the 8th Day band.
