Cantor Rabbi Shmuel Toledano In A New Single: “Seder Mussar”
Cantor and composer Rabbi Shmuel Toledano launches “Seder Musar” – a new and exciting single, the lyrics of which he took from the sefer “Mesilat Yesharim“, Chapter 1, and a personal melody that he wrote himself.
The song deals with the purpose of man and a look to the world to come, from the words of the Mesilat Yesharim: “Man was not created for his condition in this world, but for his condition in the world to come.”
With a powerful melody and presentation, Rabbi Shmuel seeks to give the words of the moral a musical expression that touches the heart and invites introspection, especially at the beginning of the Month of Mercy. “Seder Musar” is part of a new album on the way, all of whose melodies are the work of Rabbi Shmuel Toledano.
Composition and lyrics: Rabbi Shmuel Toledano
