“B’Rachamim Gedolim”- Shloime Gertner & Composer Chaim Altman In A Moving Kumzitz Song
In days when the Jewish people around the world yearn for peace and comfort and long for great mercy, London-based singer Shloime Gertner hosts composer Chaim Altman for a moving duet that is all about tefilla and Bakasha- asking Hashem for something.
The song, composed in the midst of the days of the return of the kidnapped, is taken from the words of the Navi Yishayahu, in which Hashem promises that a day will come when ” ברחמים גדולים אקבצך ובחסד עולם ריחמתיך – With great mercy I will gather you, and with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you”!
The moving melody with the special words sends comfort and quenches the weary soul like cool water after the difficult period and sorrow in which the Jewish people were during the war.
