Chazanut and Jazz? It’s something that’s very unique, but Aryeh Leib Hurwitz pulls it off! 17 musicians a conductor and one prolific chazzan and singer.
This brand new release, ‘Sheyibone‘, may be a classic song, but you never heard it like this before! Says Hurwitz, “You never heard a classic song like this done in this genre, we’re keeping the vocally traditional but musically completely ‘jazzy'”
It will make you want to “pray and swing”. A video will be released next week for this new arrangement.
