Akiva Gruman & Meir Adler Team Up For “Sha’at Rachamim”
During the Aseres Yimei Teshuva, vocalist Akiva Gruman joins forces with composer Meir Adler for a moving and powerful prayer-themed single titled “Sha’at Rachamim” (A Time of Mercy). The song—with lyrics drawn from the familiar supplication, “Tehei Hasha’ah Hazos Shaas Rachamim Vi’eis Ratzon Milfanecha-May this hour be a time of mercy and a time of favor before You”—was composed by R’ Meir Adler with the aim of opening hearts and invoking Divine mercy during this sacred period.
Naftali Landesman handled the musical arrangement, joined by the voices of the “Malchut” choir, who add an authentic Chassidic grandeur. The entire piece is brought together through the polished production of Shloimy Bookshpan, uniting all elements into a touching, uplifting, and soulful performance that speaks directly to the heart.
