The Singer With A Thousand Faces: Yair David Releases ‘Rak Ata’ – Rhythmic Faith Single

Yair David is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating and energetic figures in the Israeli public and musical landscape. Many call him “the singer with a thousand faces,” and the reason for this is clear. He I s a man who operates in several significant arenas simultaneously, and wherever he is, he gives his all and does his best, with each field of activity complementing the other perfectly.

On the one hand, Yair David is a senior, admired and beloved public figure, who serves as the chairman of the Religious Council in Kiryat Ekron. He is a man of action and kindness who has established soup kitchens, community centers to assist youth and families in need, a center for girls at risk, and a center for empowerment and support.

Along with this extensive public activity, Yair David is also a great singer with a string of hits behind him that he has released over the years. Now, he is releasing “Rak Ata“, a rhythmic and moving faith single that deals with the connection between the sacred and the mundane, dealing with a deceptive reality, and understanding that it is always possible to wake up, become stronger, and remember that in the Creator’s world we are all just guests.

The lyrics and melody were created by Chagai Uzan and Miki Ben Atar. The song’s arrangement and musical production was entrusted to Dedi Saadi, who is also responsible for the keyboards and programming. Alongside them, top-notch musicians took part in the production: Ido Reuveni on drums, Avi Yifrach on bass, Omri Zelig on guitars and dulcimer, and Chezi Yaakov on percussion. The background vocals are accompanied by Bar Reuven, Chagai Uzan, Miki Ben Atar and Dedi Saadi, with the mixing and mastering being done by Eli Melamed.
