“Lemancha” – Shloime Cohen & Composer Chaim Altman In A Moving Duet

In the midst of the Days of Mercy and Forgiveness and in preparation for the prayers of the High Holy Days, the artist of emotion Shloime Cohen, together with Chaim Altman, cry out in prayer – “Do for your sake if not for our sake”!

“We ask Hashem for so many things in ‘Avinu Malkeinu’, and in the middle of crying out “Asei Lemancha – Do for your sake,” shares Chaim, “I felt the need to turn these words into a pleading melody that would express the feelings of the heart and give expression to the familiar cry and prayer. And it was only natural to release the song together with Rabbi Shlomo, whose gentle and moving voice adds grace and soul to the melody and its interpretation.”

Chaim, known for his unique and nostalgic compositions, once again joins the magical atmosphere himself, with the arrangement and production by Yonatan Blau.
