Shmulik Berger & Yossi Rottner In An Energetic Single-Video “Lo Od Layla”
Avigdor Meir presents: Shmulik Berger & Yossi Rottner release “Lo Od Layla” a sweeping and vibrant wedding song for the dance floors. ‘Lo Od Layla‘ is an intriguing collaboration between Berger, who comes from the world of electronics, and Yossi Rottner from the world of weddings and events. The electronic and vibrant arrangement is of course by Shmulik.
The song is also accompanied by an especially invested and vibrant clip filmed at the Jaffa Port, for which dozens of yeshiva students and dancers were recruited to liven up the atmosphere, including an amusing visual nod to the nostalgic dancers in the atmosphere of Rabbi Jacob. There was quite a bit of drama behind the scenes when the noisy production attracted inspectors and police officers to the scene. They delayed the filming due to a lack of prior coordination, and demanded that the music and lights be turned off. Berger and Rottner did not give up. They fought for the result and now it is here before you. “When the goal is to make the people of Israel happy, even the police will not be able to stop us,” the two conclude.
Actual production: Avigdor Meir
Composition: Cham Til
Arrangement and musical production: Shmulik Berger
