Dandesh From The Producer’s House: Yochanan Releases Fourth Single – “Shalom”
Yochanan Chait, a yeshiva rabbi and son of legendary composer Rabbi Baruch Chait, releases a fourth single called “Shalom” from a debut album that is on the way. The song is an optimistic Jewish soul ballad, combining the depth of the roots he grew up on with a contemporary and original sound.
The song was written together with David Ichalevich from an observation of the tensions in Israeli society, an angle that also gained new validity during his military service. Yochanan chooses to put aside the arguments and the need to “win”, and suggests in simple direct text to stop, listen and search for the inner and social connection.
As a composer who lives the world of Torah alongside his work, Yochanan brings to the song an honesty and authenticity that speaks directly to the heart of each and every one. “Shalom” is another single that distills his ability to transform authentic emotion into a broad and exciting sound, on the way to a full album that will be released. Coming soon.
