Itay Berman & Yosef Nativ In A New & Intriguing Duet – “Bikashti”

Singer and composer Itay Berman continues to excite and presents another chapter in the musical story that captured hearts, with the new single “Bikashti” – in collaboration with Yosef Nativ.

After the success of the previous song with Ben Artzi, which dealt with the figure of a fighter on the front, Berman chooses this time to change his angle and turn his gaze towards home to those who remain behind. “Bikashti” was written and composed by Berman, and brings the quiet but powerful voice of a father waiting for his son to return.

The song is not about the fighting itself, but rather the human emotion that accompanies it: the daily worry, the moments of silence that are filled with thoughts, and the simple prayer that comes back again and again – just for him to come home. Through honest performance and profound writing, Berman manages to touch a universal experience that is familiar to almost every home in Israel.

The connection between the two songs creates a rare emotional continuum – from the front to the home front, from the soldier to the family that awaits him. “Bikashti” is not just another song, but a direct continuation of a story that expresses the sense of hope of an entire people, who ask for one thing: that everyone return safely.
