Eliyahu Chait In A Personal & Open Prayer – “Ani Kore Lecha”
Singer and songwriter Eliyahu Chait releases “Ani Kore Lecha,” a moving second single from his debut album, written out of deep pain and a search for a foothold in a world of uncertainty. The lyrics, which Chait wrote and composed three years ago against the backdrop of a period of difficult and divisive discourse among the people, today take on a more chilling and precise meaning than ever.
“It felt to me that we were going to a bad place,” says Chait about the moment when the lines describing “Hester Panim” were born and the feeling that many had lost their way. Now, with the song being released in an arrangement and musical production by Avi Sprung, it becomes an anthem of disillusionment and understanding that we have no one to lean on but our Father in Heaven.
