A Song Born From Pain, Released With A Lively Groove & Lots of Optimism “Ani Mevorach”

Upon his return to Israel on a rescue flight from a tour of performances abroad, Shmuel releases a new and refreshing single called “Ani Mevorach“.

The song was born from deeply personal moments and is based on the “mishnah of his life” of his grandfather, Rabbi Ephraim, who would frequently say “I am so blessed!” despite dealing with a serious illness. Inspired by this spirit, and influenced by the teachings of Rabbi Nachman and Rabbi Natan, Shmuel turned the memory into a song full of life and joy that reminds us all of who is managing everything with personal care from above.

In the challenging times we are in, when children and adults find themselves repeatedly on the way to shelter, the song seeks to provide a point of support amidst the madness. Shmuel explains that his great hope is that everyone who hears the song will be able to feel the goodness in their lives, and understand that even in the fog, Hashem is always good. The words “I am enlightened and I am blessed” are intended to bring true relief to those seeking solace.

The song, which is produced by Maor Shushan and Stav Nachmias, is endowed with a lot of groove and optimism. It is accompanied by an animated clip by Mati Shriki and designed by Elad Halevi, which add a layer of light to the work and invite the viewer to smile while feeling the depth of the message. “Ani Mevorach” is another step on Shmuel‘s path to his debut album, which will be released soon, as he continues to answer the need of an entire generation for simple but profound messages.

“You never left me / In the end, everyone is just human / So I will trust in you / And I will only sing to you”
