Something went wrong with the connection!

A New Song By Yehoram Gaon, The Fruit of A Collaboration With The Composer Ovadia Chamama: Yehoram Gaon – “Ad Olam”

A New Song By Yehoram Gaon, The Fruit of A Collaboration With The Composer Ovadia Chamama: Yehoram Gaon – “Ad Olam”

Yehoram Gaon says: “This is a love song for the Land of Israel. This is a love ‘Ad Kalot‘. This is the home that is written for us. No more wanderings. This is the land that will protect us. The land of refuge. The only land, the aspiration where I step, I know that I am the sovereign, this is my home and I have no other land. In any other place, even if I succeed greatly and do great deeds, there I will always be a stranger!…”

Ovadia Chamama, as always, touches in his own unique way, and together with Udi Turgeman, the very talented producer and arranger, a magical connection was created!

Where we went, where we are
Where we went and forever
As long as we were together, this is the shore
As long as we were together, for better or for worse.
As long as we were together, this is the shore
As long as we were together, for better or for worse…

“The Simchat Torah war took the fountain of my creativity in many directions,” explains Ovadia Chamama. “In this song, it sharpened the idea of: ‘for better or for worse’ as in a wedding vow between a couple, the realization that here and only here is home, Whatever happens, together, forever. Writing for Yehoram is always a national mission and a great privilege!”

“This is another work written during the War that was forced upon us on October 7, 2023, and which seeks in its way to comfort and empower, now, during the “Roar of the Lion” war, and from a broad Zionist and faith-based perspective and out of gratitude for the graces of heaven and earth, words of comfort and empowerment that gradually find their place in reality.”

Chamama reveals that Yehoram thought that creating an artistic clip in sand could tell the story and serve the song beautifully. Indeed, sand artist Aharon Ze’ev Bernstein created it and with his great talent managed to draw our point on the earth, the shore of safety for the ship of our people:
Eretz Israel… Aliyah… The establishment of the state… The Zionist and kibbutz enterprise… The October 7 disaster… Kidnappers and missiles… Rebirth… Repair… Tel Aviv and Jerusalem… and return to the shore of safety, and for a peaceful and peaceful Simchat Torah on the streets of Tel Aviv… Truly holy in the sand!
