Jonathan Israel Releases His Debut Single: “Abba Toda”
Jonathan Israel embarks on a musical journey with a debut single called “Abba Toda” – a song of gratitude, faith and introspection. The song touches on a deep human point: the tendency to complain about small difficulties, compared to the understanding that there are those who face a much more complex and difficult reality. Through the words Jonathan asks to stop, look at life from a different angle, and discover the good even when everything is not perfect.
Jonathan shares: “Many thought the song was written out of brokenness, but that’s really not the case. It was written out of joy, out of observing the troubles of others and realizing that what seems to me to be a difficulty is nothing compared to them. A little fall here and there is part of the journey.”
In the background of the release of the single there is also a personal loss. Jonathan recently lost his father, and “Abba Toda” even becomes part of the message and values that his father wanted to leave in the world: a believing view, gratitude and ability.
