Eden – The Knock at the Door EP

Eden – The Knock at the Door EP

Comprised of three childhood friends growing up with a love for music, Eden is a Jewish Rock trio from Brooklyn, New York that has been an explosive musical force from its inception. Having performed before audiences numbered from hundreds to thousands, Eden’s powerful message of spirituality and joy has spread to people all over the world. Their musical influences cover the gamut of rock, ranging from the earliest roots of folk to the most modern explosive metal and everything in between.

Eden’s underlying message is twofold. It seeks not only to dispel the notion that Torah and spirituality are merely ancient and mundane ideas, but also that they are connected to our modern daily life.Through the energy of their Alternative Rock expressions, fused with themes of Judaism and spirituality, they create a palatable medium that can always entertain and inspire any audience.

In 2005 Eden released their debut album “Break of Dawn”. The instant hit “Adon Olam” rocked the airwaves and headsets of Jewish music listeners across the world. After years of performances promoting the album, the band took a hiatus, in part, to reflect and rejuvenate their musical inspiration. After regrouping, new  material was written and the band began performing to test the waters of their newfound musical voice. The result was a resounding “Wow” and it sent Eden back into the recording studio. “The Knock at the Door” EP is just a taste of things to come, and what’s coming is some of the most intense Jewish music you will ever  encounter. for more info check out edenmusic.net
