Singer Levi Farkash In An Innovative & Special Performance of The Song “Pada Be’Shalom”

In honor of the 19th of Kislev – the holiday of redemption of the old Rebbe, author of the “Tanya” and the “Shulchan Aruch” – singer Levi Farkash launches a moving and special performance of the well-known Chabad tune “Pada Be’Shalom.”

According to the story, when the old Rebbe was told of his redemption from imprisonment in Russia, he was in the midst of reciting the verse “Pada Be’Shalom Nafsi” (Tehillim 55:19). Following this, the Chassidic community composed a tune based on these words, and since then the tune has been sung throughout the Chassidic world on the 19th of Kislev – a day of light, joy and redemption.

The tune itself opens with a calm and deep movement, filled with emotion of gratitude to Hashem for the great miracle. Towards the end, with the words “V’Ani Evtach Bach,” the melody rises powerfully into a movement of joy and real dancing.

In the clip, we also incorporated a message for today – how in every situation one should always trust in Hashem .
