Yoel Dovid Goldstein Releases New Hartizg Album “A Shtick Hartz”

After the release of his last hit album in 2023, singer and composer Yoel Dovid Goldstein already knew what the next project would be. Since the release of his video, “A Kumzits to Remember” a few years ago, Yoel Dovid has been getting constant requests to release songs with “hartz”, with heart. Not just songs of yesteryear, but also some recent songs that struck a cord with listeners and pulled at their hearts.

So, Yoel Dovid went to his good friend, composer and producer Yitzy Waldner, who helped bring his last album Mizmor L’Dovid to fruition. The two sat and started compiling songs to be part of the new “A Shtick Hartz” album. As the songs were coming together, they realized this project was too big to be on one album. That’s where the idea came to release the albums in “parts.”

Introducing: “A Shtick Hartz Vol 1” produced by Yitzy Waldner and featuring the voice of Yoel Dovid Goldstein. Four songs are songs that Yoel Dovid grew up with and that he now wants to introduce to the youth of today. The other two are more recent. However, due to other hits on the albums, they have been overlooked by many fans. Songs include Ki Elokim and Vehachen from MBD, Asara Harugei Malchus from Lipa, Shomer Yisroel from Yossi Green as well as Dirshu from Shmueli Ungar and Ad Mosei from Yoel Dovid’s last album.
