Rebuilding Hearts & Hope: Uvnei By Akiva Schechter – Out Now!
Some songs are born out of melody.
This one was born out of longing.
“Uvnei” is about rebuilding not just the stones of Jerusalem, but the heart that beats within it. It’s a prayer, a dream, and a promise that no matter how scattered we are, we still rise together.
I walked through Jerusalem and felt both the pain and the beauty of a city waiting to be whole again. This song carries that tension, the hope, the ache, and the quiet strength of a nation that refuses to lose its voice.
I wanted to bring a timeless feeling to it, the kind of emotion you hear in those classic voices that made people stop and listen. Music that feels lived in, honest, a little vintage, but deeply real.
From my heart to yours, may “Uvnei” remind us that rebuilding begins when we come together.
