Gadassi Wrote & Composed – Israel Gavra & Nati Levy Sing: “Neginati”
Israel Gavra and Nati Levy are launching a new single in the atmosphere of the month of Elul and the Yamim Noraim, written and composed by Yair Gadassi – one of the most prominent and respected composers in Mizrachi music.
Gadassi, most of whose works are identified with his unique voice, chose an unconventional step this time and entrusted the song to Gavra and Levy.
The song is a prayer and a request to Hashem that He will accept our prayers:
“You, who are in the heart of my mouth, I open, a time to ask, a time for everyone to ask. My hands will be spread out to Hashem until you accept ‘Neginati’- my playing…”.
The vocal combination of Gavra and Levy gives Gadassi‘s lyrics and composition a personal and moving expression.
