Towards Shabbat: David Berg In A Special Cover of “Shabbos Hayom L’Hashem”
Singer David Berg launches a new cover of the song “Shabbos Hayom L’Hashem”, composed by Baruch Levin and originally performed by Shloime Gertner. The choice of the song comes from the deep connection to the longing for the building of the Temple – a theme that accompanies the Jewish people especially during the month of Av.
The cover heralds the beginning of a new chapter in Berg’s musical journey, just before he unveils a series of additional original singles of his own. “This song touches the heart of every Jew, and I am happy to sing it precisely during this period, out of anticipation and hope for the building of the Bais Hamikdash” – says Berg.
Composition: Baruch Levin
Arrangement and musical production: David Berg & Gal Snir
Public relations: Israel Rosen
